The Delco Gaels is a Pennsylvania 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Please complete our brief Questionnaire and let us know how you would like to support the Club.
In 2013, the Delco Gaels had over 300 children playing Football, Hurling & Camogie.
Each year we introduce the games to new players and continue the development of existing players.
We organize Indoor Leagues in the Winter, Outdoor Leagues in the Summer and Summer Camps. We avail of every opportunity for our players to participate in the games whether it be locally or by traveling to other Clubs in New York, etc. We participate in the Continental Youth Championships and we also support our U14 Division in their continued participation in the International Feile competition. In 2011 over 110 Gaels players traveled to the CYC in Boston and we were represented by our exceptional U14 team at the Feile in Co. Cork, Ireland. In 2013 the Gaels fielded 21 teams in the CYC and were integral in Hosting this event, the largest Gaelic tournament held outside of Ireland. In addition to our existing programs, the Club implement the Gaelic4Girls program in January 2012.
Our children participate in local community events from the St. Patrick's Day parades to exhibition games at the Renaissance Fair and Allentown Sportsfest. We support our fellow community organizations and many other youth events.
Our focus is participation by all children and inclusion of all families. Working together is success!!!
With the continued growth of the club, the need for additional fields, insurance, equipment, and travel expenses - nationally and internationally, it is only with community support that we are able to provide all of these opportunites to the children.
We welcome all support of the club in our continued promotion of the Gaelic games, whether it be volunteering time, in-kind services, financial contributions or your suggestions.
On behalf of the children, we thank you for your interest and support of the Delco Gaels and Gaelic games.
